EUPATI Belgian Patient Forum 2018: Facilitating patient involvement through education

Venue: The EGG, Rue Bara 175, 1070 Bruxelles
How to get there: There are no, or a very limited amount (5) of, parking spaces at the venue. We advise you to not come by car. The venue is very close to the Brussels-Midi train station, so we advise you to come by train.

Patients and patient organisations are increasingly being asked to engage with various stakeholders in the healthcare sector, such as reimbursement bodies, regulators or pharmaceutical companies. The objective of this meeting is to jointly ease the path to multi-sectorial cooperation between patients, academia, government and pharma.

What will you learn?

For patients and patient organisations: How to participate in discussions about clinical trials? And how do you best prepare yourself for these conversations?
For academics and industry: What is the added value of patient involvement? How can you involve patients in your research?
